We are calling in makers, tenders, musicians, poets, temporary kin, mythic lovers, old friends, new friends, creators, photographers, monks, bodyworkers, and allies 🌀.
We’re proud to have a Santa Barbara County Certificate for Homestays. Come stay at our home. Bring instruments and play music, write poetry, stretch, sleep. Bring the right vibe.
At any given time people are cooking, shooting film, swimming, sauna-ing, and lazing about.
A property manager lives in the Pool House across the courtyard.
The main house has two bedrooms: The Hot Tub Room, and the Crow’s Nest. The main floor and courtyard is communal and shared with friends and creators who may come through
The Hot Tub room features an indoor/outdoor chlorine free ozonated peroxide hot tub surrounded by river rock and stained glass. The tub fits about 3-4 people. The 5-headed shower (the heart of the whale), is encircled by red stained glass that flows into the shower’s tile design.
This room features the Whale House Cantina, which has drinks, clothes, candles, soaps, books, underwater cameras, and more. The hot tub room is technically a mezzanine room above the living room. It’s visually private but you can hear sound from the floor below.
The Crow’s Nest room features a treetop four-claw tub, a daybed in front of a massive stone fireplace, a desk and standing desk overlooking the oak trees, and a bedroom with reading chair and closet.
Every room has independently controlled air conditioning.
The kitchen has alkaline water on tap.
The sauna and the swimming pool are communal.
The hot tub is only communal if the person staying in that room invites you.
This is an alcohol and zionism free household🪬
Jewish & POC female owned.
We’re slowly building out this program but want it to be thoughtful and measured.
